I have been known to entice perfect strangers off the street, who showed merely polite interest, to come and stroll my garden. Now with the help of the Web I can invite friends and strangers from all over the world to come in. |

When I go garden visiting, one of the things I'm most interested in is the different plant combinations. While I enjoy recognizing plants that are old friends, what most catches my eye is something that's less familiar to me. Every season has its own beauty, and the joy of being able to revisit in different seasons is to see how incredible the change is as the seasons progress. Hopefully you'll find some of all that on these pages. I hope you'll enjoy yourself enough to come back again. I have been experimenting with some Java applets, and I will be using them to display some of my garden pictures. The applets are fun and cool, but to view them you must have a Java capable browser and OS. I used to resent people telling me what resolution to use, but the fact is, the garden pages will look best if you're using a screen resolution of at least 800x600, high color. You can view the pages with less, but you'll have to scroll a lot, and the photos won't look like much.
